Hey everyone just wanted to introduce myself really quick. I will be moving to the Springs in May 2012 for an internship and I just wanted to scope out the fighting game scene. I mainly play Sf4 but I'll also get down in some ST/HDR and Marvel 3 if I'm feeling silly. I also see you guys play some LoL which is awesome. Feel free to add me to XBL: CuddlyVoodDoo or LoL: Ranaia. My xbl subscription is expired now bc I'm a broke ass college student but that will be renewed soon :) I might be going to NEC any of you going?

Hmm.. NEC has Blaz. So if I sell my stuff, take out a small loan and...

Welcome to the scene. :) Damn, a whole half a year away? You must really not want ANY lapse of time between your fight game sessions! Which is plenty fine.

    Where you hail from?

Haha yep I'm mostly looking forward to when I'll have time to play seriously again. School takes up a lot of my time so I really have only been playing casually as of late.

I'm from Cleveland but I go to school in Rochester, NY. I figured I'd hit up the fighting game scene so I at least know a few people when I get out there. Also kinda wanted to get a feel of what its like to live there. I've visited in the past but just the mountain/outdoors stuff (which isn't really my style).

BOOOO! Get this guy outta here! If you need me, I'll be wrestling mountain goats!

If indoors and games are your best draws ever, and you drink (or hell, even if you don't), you're gonna hit up the 1UP bar with us. :>

Hello everyone. I joined this forum before Christmas but haven't really had time to be that active until now. I've been into fighting games off and on since freshman year of college but I never really got into "the scene" much - I just played with 1 friend and some people he knew from time to time (mostly Third Strike). But now with the releases of MvC3 and KoFXIII I wanted to become more active because online play is just...not the same and frustrating. I want to start going to weekly meetup-type things. Oh and I live in downtown Denver.

I don't care if you're good or not, I only care if you want to play it and are wanting to get better at it (and if not that's ok too haha).

Oh yeah I definitely want to get better. I've only really played KoF with 1 other person locally and a little bit online so I would really like to see more variety with this series.

Hey everyone. I'm a long time fighting game player, going on... 15 years now? I started seriously with Alpha 2 on the PSX, then got heavy into the Vs. and Kof series when I picked up a region-modded Saturn. From there I played as much as I could, all the Kofs on Dreamcast, CvS1 and CvS2, SamSho 1-4, MvC, MvC2, Garou, etc. etc. I only seriously competed in CvS2 and MvC2, and got into SF3:3rd strike after it had hit its popularity. I played a lot of Kof2k2 when I was staying at my brother's apartment in Tokyo, and that was probably the ONLY game I could ever beat the guys in Akihabara at.

Currently I own a house in Highlands Ranch with my wife, I work full-time as a software dev. and do grad school full-time. I play fighting games as a cool-down on the weekends/when I'm not busy. I own a Madcatz TE MvC edition stick as my main form of play, and I also have a WIP Mame cabinet in my garage. I've been playing SSF4:AE for PC off and on, I play CPS2 and Neo-Geo games over Supercade when I'm feeling up for old-school competition, and I just recently picked up UMvC3 for X360. I'm totally down for getting together for some local game sessions, I didn't even know such a large fighting game community existed here in Colorado!
