I work in the Boulder area (off 32nd and Walnut) and live in Westminster, I wouldn't mind meeting up after work or something a few days a week. Better than driving to Denver for me. I play SF.

Yeah I would be down to play, I'm gonna have to brush up on my street fighter a bit but I'd love some practice (that means I'm gonna get bodied)
I live relatively close too, off 28th and Glenwood Ct.
Lemme know when a good time is for you, I work most days till about 2-3pm so my schedule is pretty open.

I live in Lafayette but am often in the Boulder area. I'm going to try to get down to some Safe House nights and a couple of the posted tourneys. I play Skullgirls PC. Open to getting bodied on other games.

Hey guys, I come from smash but I've been thinking about picking up kof13 since it's on steam now. I also mess around with sf4/umvc3.

I'm from the boulder area and wanted to know where most kof meetups are at?

You'll find us on SafeHouse Mondays and Thursdays 6pm-12am (see bottom of page). I'm always testing beta at safehouse at least those two days, should come on by those days

Edit: The calendar page says we meet up in montbello Mondays but we are actually now starting to go to SafeHouse on Mondays too.

Sounds good, cant make any Mondays but I'll try to make it on Thursdays when I can. Probably won't go this week but probably next after messing with the game a bit.

Edit: Just realized Thursdays suck for me too =/ Looks like I might be online warrior for the most part until the semester is over.

There is also gatherings on Tuesdays (Clutch Gaming Bar), and Fridays (Kevin's YO ANIMAYYYY!). I been talking with DJones (he lives down in Boulder) and he says that he wants to get something going up there too.

If anything, you guys should try to come down for the tournament on the end of the month. :D

Hey, DdR_Dan here, you know, that guy who never says anything but shows up at anime cons to win the P4A tournaments. The DDR is cause I used to just play Dance Dance Revolution a lot and so it ended up in my nickname and I never bothered to change it. For fighting games, I've only been an online player. I'm probably most solid at Arcana Heart 3, like, I know all the combos I want to do in every situation and I have the execution down (online at least). But, I'm not sure anyone here plays that anyway. Then there's P4A. I know some of my combos are a little bit off, but I can still play the game pretty well. After that there's Blazblue and SF4 cause I used to play those a ton online when I was really bad at fighting games, but I haven't played those seriously in years, so I'm not that good at either of them. Finally I'm not that into Tekken and KOF but I have played them, and I don't play Marvel but I watch it sometimes.

Anyway, I want to make the transition from an online player to an offline/tournament player because I enjoy competition and I want to improve my game. I need the practice against the strong players that don't play online on ranked much, or even just practice against people who are serious about learning the game and improving, so if there's gatherings in Colorado that I can make it to, I'd love to go. Right now I'm in Colorado Springs but I might be moving some time soon (if I do I'll most likely stay in Colorado at least).

I guess I can make an exception for DDR.... this time! ;)

Glad you hopped on board here man. Most of our gatherings for anime fighters is Denver based at the moment, though no AH3 (but if you bring it, no doubt we'd play it lolol). I know there's a few down in Springs that (claim to) want to play P4A, so maybe you can hit up Kanoleon to see if he'd like to get some matches in with you. Cause he needs it, bad. Otherwise, Springs does have their own fighting game gatherings, I just am unsure when/where at this time.

Otherwise, Denver gatherings are on Thursday and Friday at the moment. Thursday is at Safe House which has a small venue fee, and Friday is at MiracleKnight's apartment. I hope you can make it down sometime :)

This is what I get for not coming on to the boards much. New persona player in Springs and I just found out. Either, I'm happy to hear that :D

Hey everyone. I'm in the Denver area, just seeing what the local scene is like. Currently, I'm only playing SG and KOFXIII on Steam. I don't know if there's a GGAC scene, but that's my preferred fighter.

There's always a group of dudes that once you say GG they come out of the woodworks, but disappear before any gathering.

Anyway, welcome! We always want more SG and KoFXIII players. also, good scenes right now between Kings of CO (KoF) and Mile High Burst (Airdashers/Anime minus MvC).

KoCO (WOW that actually shortens to Cocoa, c'mon guys) gets together Mondays and Thursdays; MHB on Thursdays and Fridays. There's a rough calender below I need to update now that MHB has their Fridays going.

And if you miss gatherings, both stream on respective days. :) (twitch.tv/KingsofCO / twitch.tv/MileHighBurst)

    Once again, welcome!

Watching the KOF stream right now. I just downloaded the game today and have no previous experience with KOF, so I think I have some work to do.

No worries, I didn't either when the game came out. Took a while but I finally learned how to play. it's hella rewarding.

Feel free to add Ryyudo on Steam (should show up as @Ryyudo) if you ever wanna get games and we can start to level you up, if interested :)

Never played P4A, but people say the same thing about BB. I just couldn't care about BB like I did GG though. I might give P4A a shot though, people seem to love it.
